Obituary of Nancy S Scandell

Nancy S. Scandell, 61, of Gilbert passed away Monday May 25, 2015. She was born on September 6, 1953 to the late Donald Herbert Scandell and Jettie June Harris of Lynchburg, VA. She is also predeceased by her grandson, Jagger. She was an active member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Gilbert. Nancy loved time with her family and lived for her grandchildren who knew her as "Nana." In addition to her mother, she is survived by her two sons, Jason (Michelle) Miller and Brandon (Heather) Stockman; sister, Gail Scandell; brother, Ken Scandell; grandchildren, Alexis, Riley, Cole, and Jewel; step - parents, Rose Scandell and Edward J. Harris. The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, May 28, 2015. A Funeral service will be held at Crossroads Baptist Church on Friday, May 29, 2015 at noon with Pastor Reynold Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Lexington Memorial Gardens.
