Obituary of Virginia Williamson

Virginia L. Williamson, 97, of Cayce, South Carolina passed away May 26, 2015 in Cayce, South Carolina. She was born on May 23, 1918 in Swansea, South Carolina to the late Thomas W. and Leola Lucas. Virginia is survived by her loving children; daughter, Yvonne Jeffcoat (Roy) of Anderson; son, Ronald D. Long, of West Columbia; grandchildren, Rosalind Hammett (Lawrence), Kenneth Jeffcoat (Mary Helen), Sharon Allen (Chuck), Phyllis Kinsey (Eddie) and Jeffery Long (Candy); twelve great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. Virginia was a very caring and loving person who always had a smile to share. She was a member of Cayce United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 29, 2015 at Cayce United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
