My heart goes out to you in the loss of your dear mother. Sudie was a very caring woman who was williling to share her knowledge. As a beginning gymnastics coach, Sudie took me under her wings and helped me get established in the sport as a coach. Thanks for sharing your mother with me and hundreds of other coaches and athletes in the state. God's Blessings to your family.

I will always cherish the memories of our shared family beach vacations and visits to the cabin at Lake Murray. Pete, Sudie, Lew & Lorraine were and are like a second family. Sudie & my Mom, (Bobbie) Jean Gasque Young, grew up together in Marion and their friendship continued throughout their lives. I am sure that they are having a good time right now in Heaven!
Lew and Lorraine, My prayers and thoughts are with you both.

Coach Love was my softball coach 40 years ago. She taught me how to play game, to love and respect the game. We always said the Lord's Prayer before every game. She was a lady through and through and gave me wonderful childhood memories. I am still involved in softball today and it's largely due to her influence. She truly touched many lives. May God bless your family during this difficult time and may your memories help you through your pain. Angela Bordeaux West

I was one of the fortunate ones who can say I've known Sudie for about all of my life. She was one of the sweetest ladies I've known. My life was better because she was in it. We will miss you greatly.

I first met Sudie as a high school student at Columbia High School. Excellent teacher and she also coached and had great success. Through the years we kept in touch and she even rode on our buses to many out of town USC football games. Lastly, would see her at many baseball games. She was also pleasant and provided a heartly laugh. She will be missed by all.
