Obituary of William S. Ferrell

William Steven Ferrell, 70, of West Columbia, South Carolina passed away June 1, 2015. He was born in Columbia, South Carolina to the late Boyd and Addie Moore Ferrell. William was a War Veteran and served in Vietnam and in Germany. He enjoyed golfing, camping, fishing and loved to do crossword puzzles every day. He will be missed dearly by his friends and family. William is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Joyce Ferrell; and his son, Randy Ferrell and wife Kim of Lexington. He also is survived by his grandson, Owen; and his step-daughter, Darlene Hutcheson and husband Bray of GA. He is also survived by his aunt, Mary Bramlett of Gilbert. He also leaves his four-legged Skeeter whom he adored deeply. The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 from 6-8PM. Funeral services will be held at Greenhill Baptist Church in West Columbia on Thursday, June 4, 2015 10AM. Interment will be in Celestial Memorial Gardens.
