Obituary of Yong Nan Kim

Yong Nan Kim, 58, of Columbia, wife of the late Se Kun Kim, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2015. Friends and family may call at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 11 o'clock AM for Funeral Service. Interment will follow at 12 o'clock PM at Greenlawn Memorial Park, in Columbia, SC. Nan was born on September 1, 1956 in Seoul, Korea, daughter of the late Pyong Mun Choe and Kyong Sun (Chung) Choe. Nan loved being a mother to her two wonderful children. She was a University of South Carolina graduate and was employed at the United States Postal Service for 28 years. Surviving her are her two children, Robert J. Kim of Columbia and Doria J. Kim of Columbia; two brothers, Chang Won Choe (Me Ja) of Houston, TX, Charlie Chang II Choe (Grace Min) of Charlotte, NC; two sisters, Chun Ok Susie Livingston (Robert) of Puyallup, WA and Sonmi Cassie Kang (Youngsang) of Puyallup, WA. She was predeceased by her two sisters, Yong Cha Bell and Yong Ok Alton.
