Obituary of JoAnn Lucas

JoAnn Lucas, 75, of West Columbia passed away peacefully on June 10, 2015. She was born in Columbia to the late Colie Edward and Margie Golden Lanigan. JoAnn is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Sam Lucas, Jr. of West Columbia; her daughter, Chris (Ron Spigner) Ferrell of Prosperity; and son, Ken (Sheila Price) Lucas of Lexington. She is also survived by her sisters, Bonnie (James) Rye of Eastover and Elsie (Tommy) Graham of Chapin; and her brother, Dan (Faye) Lanigan of Eastover. She also leaves her three grandchildren, Nicole "Nikki" (Roy), Caleb (Ashley) and Sam; and her six great-grandchildren, Daina, Jared, Elie-Mae, Tandice, Rylie and Natalia. The family will receive friends at Pineview Baptist Church in West Columbia on Monday, June 15, 2015 from 1-2 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with burial in Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church Cemetery.
