Obituary of Thelma C. Mosier

Thelma C Mosier, 85, of Columbia passed away June 18, 2015 at Pruitt Healthcare in Columbia . She was born on November 24, 1929 in Kershaw County to late Johnny Catoe and Ruth (Smalls) Faile. Thelma was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Strong in her Christian faith, she enjoyed spreading the word of God. She was generous to a fault. Thelma was very quick witted and did not hesitate to give her advice even unsolicited. In her younger days, she enjoyed dancing, board games and always enjoyed a challenging word search. She will be missed by those who loved her and knew her best, but thankful that her pain is gone and she is with her Savior. Thelma is survived by her daughter, Patti Giomi (Ron) of Columbia, SC; grandchildren, Maria Rodillo (Eugene) of Columbia, SC, Frankie Giomi of Columbia, SC and Anna Velleggia (Trey) of Tuscaloosa, AL. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Mosier and a son Danny Mosier. Graveside services will be in the Mausoleum of Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia, SC 29209 on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 10:00 a.m.
