Obituary of Audrey G. Fulmer

Audrey G. Fulmer, 93, of West Columbia, joined her loving husband Wilbur on July 4, 2015. She was born in Buffalo, New York to the late Leon and Martha Bowen Grace. Audrey graduated from nursing school, served in WWII and was a Registered Nurse for many years. She was instrumental in developing many programs within the health care field at Baptist Medical Center in SC before retiring in the 80's. God, family and her country were very important to her as she lived her life daily. She loved serving others unconditionally and will be missed by so many friends as well as her family. Audrey is survived by her son, David Fulmer (Susan) of North, SC; and her brother Edward (Ned) Grace of FL. She leaves her daughter in law, Evelyn Fulmer; and son in law, John Peters; as well as her 7 grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her children, Michael and Richard Fulmer, Elizabeth Peters; and her brother, Eugene Grace. The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington on Monday, July 6, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Green Hill Baptist Church on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 2 p.m. Burial will take place in Celestial Memorial Gardens.
