Obituary of Frances Thompson

Frances "Gerry" Thompson, 79, of Lexington, wife of the late Bobby Ralph "Mickey" Thompson of 25 years, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on July 8, 2015. She was born in Columbia, South Carolina to the late Andrew and Theatus Bland Shirey. Frances was a lifelong resident of South Carolina. She spent most of her time raising her children and spending time with family. She loved to travel to the beach, mountains and casinos and enjoyed flea markets. She will be missed deeply by all who knew her. Frances is survived by her sons, Ralph (Rhonda) Thompson of Lexington and Timothy (Beth) Thompson of Lexington; and her daughters, Theatus Chapman of Newberry, Elsielena (John) Baas of OH and Charlene (Daniel) Crawford of Gilbert. She also leaves her 14 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington on Sunday, July 12, 2015 from 6-8PM. Funeral services will be at Thompson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel on Monday, July 13, 2015 at 12PM. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
