Obituary of Sibylla Karin Easley

Sibylla Karin Easley, 75 , of Columbia , South Carolina passed away July 11, 2015 at Palmetto Health Baptist Columbia , South Carolina . She was born on May 22, 1940 in Bonn, Germany to the late Josef Sauerborn and Johanna Wefers. A proud Air Force wife, she supported her husband during his overseas deployments all the way though his days as a KC 135 Commander. Karin loved to travel and sample local cultures. She most loved her family. Karin enjoyed any time that the family could gather and be with one another. She will be missed by those she loved, and those that loved her. Sibylla is survived by her beloved husband of 35 years, Bill Easley; daughters, Pam Gates (Gary) and Terri Lavil (David); son, Mike Doyon (Amy); and a brother, Alex Reeser. She is also survived by her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Ellen Birchfield and a sister in law Mary Reeser. Funeral services will be at Fort Jackson 4170 Percival Road, Columbia, SC 29229 at 11 AM on Monday, July 20. 2015.
