Obituary of Vickie Lenora Herron

Vickie Lenora Herron, 52, of Lexington went home to be with her Heavenly Father on July 23rd. Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The Rev. Olin Kirkland will officiate. The family will greet friends one hour prior at the funeral home. Vickie was a loving, compassionate, and loyal person with an infectious smile that lit up the room. She was a gift to all who were fortunate enough to know her and was loved by so many. She enjoyed music, dancing, reading her bible and spoiling her nieces and nephews. She was an owner at New Spring Church She is survived by her sister and best friend, Stacie Emerson Bartlett (John), Nephews Jason Herron (Ashley), Trey Rogers (Carri), Tripp Bartlett and Noah Bartlett, Nieces Reilly Anne Bartlett and Chasen Howell (Adam), two great nieces, Hannah Rogers and Presley Ann Herron whom she loving called "Baby Cakes" and "Sweet Pea", her two loyal cats, Blue Velvet and Charcoal along with many dear friends.
