Obituary of Loree Hornsby Brazell

Loree Hornsby Brazell, 86, of Lexington, wife of the late Daniel Webster Brazell passed away Friday August 7, 2015 at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia. She was born on July 2, 1929 in Kershaw County to the late Hagood and Etta Mae Goff. She retired from Allied Signal and was a member of Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church Lexington. Mrs. Brazell was a loving and compassionate mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved her family and was a faithful servant of the Lord. She also loved dearly her cat, Shiloh. Mrs. Brazell is survived by three sons; Wayne (Debra), Danny (Kathy) and Mike (Donna) Brazell; one daughter, Peggy Brazell; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by a brother, Albert Hair; and one sister, Ruth Branham. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 4:45 p.m. on Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.
