Obituary of Clement Wright

Funeral services will be held for Clement "Anne" Neeley Wright at Thompson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. Visitation with the family will be from 1:30-3:00 p.m. prior to service. Burial will follow in Olympia Cemetery. Services will be conducted by First Church of the Nazarene Pastor's Kyle Himmelwright and Dennis Pennell, and Congaree Baptist Pastor David Mullins Anne, 78, of Cayce passed away Friday, August 7, 2015 after a very long illness. She was born on February 14, 1937 in Columbia SC. She was predeceased in death by her parents, Maggie Heath and Jesse Neeley; sister, Ora Goff; and brothers, John Olin and Odell Neeley. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Curtis "Buddy" W. Wright; son, Robert (Beverly) McKnight of Cayce; daughters, Debbie (Larry) Williams of West Columbia, Wanda (Avery) Cason of Locust Grove GA, Kathy (Mike) Vaughn of Church Hill, TN and Karen Johnson of Cayce; and 4 stepchildren of Lexington, Ray (Pansy) Wright, Wayne (Renna) Wright, Linda (Paul) Earnhart and Ruth Wright. She is also survived by 30 precious grandchildren; 44 great- grandchildren and also Julia Hall, a very special niece (but loved as a daughter). Anne retired from G.E. She loved her relatives and her "Olympia" family. For entertainment she enjoyed puzzles, TV, Bowling, The Gaither's Music and watching the birds and deer outside her window. The family wishes to express their love and gratitude for the exceptional care given by Dr. Vern Prosser, The Richland Heart Hospital staff and Palmetto Health Hospice.
