Obituary of Gregory Norton

Gregory T Norton, 49, of Blythewood, South Carolina passed away August 11, 2015 at his home in Blythewood, SC. He was born on September 3, 1965 in Georgetown, South Carolina to John and Elaine Haselden Norton. Gregory was a loving, caring individual who never knew a stranger. Earlier in his life, he served his country in the United States Army as a tank commander. He was a Dessert Storm veteran. Greg, as he was affectionately called, was employed by CSC and worked in the Information Technology security field. Gregory is survived by his loving wife, Archana Norton; parents, John and Elaine Norton; brother, Jerry Norton; and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park on August 13, 2015 from 6:00PM - 8:00PM. Funeral services will be at 12:30PM on August 14, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Rd. in Columbia, SC. Interment will take place at The Fort Jackson National Cemetery with military honors.
