Obituary of Kenneth C Currie

Kenneth C. Currie Sr., 74, of West Columbia passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015. He was born on March 9, 1941 to the late David H (Bernice) Currie and Pauline Alweine Currie Bates. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Margaret Hutto Currie. He retired from SCE&G and Irmo Chapin Recreation Commission. Kenneth is survived by his sons, Kenneth (Tammy) Currie Jr. and Kevin Currie; grandchildren, Kenneth C. Currie III "KC", Kristen Currie and Brandon Currie; brother, Windy (Patricia) Currie. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Celestial Memorial Gardens, 3111 Delree Street, West Columbia. Family will receive friends at the home of Kenneth Currie Jr., 139 W Idlewood Circle West Columbia. Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family.
