Obituary of Faye Vaughn Little Hollingsworth

Faye Vaughn Little Hollingsworth, 94, of West Columbia, South Carolina went to be with our Lord on May 2, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Chris and Jerrean Vaughn of Ninety Six, South Carolina.

Faye was born on November 2, 1929. She graduated from Ninety Six High School and the University of South Carolina and worked as a registered nurse at Lexington Medical Center until her retirement. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church.

Faye married Luther Washington Little, Jr. November 20, 1949. Luther preceded her in death on March 23, 1999 after 49 years of marriage. Together they had five children; Deborah Little Harper (Tony, deceased), Tommy Little (Joyce), Robert Little (Marisbel), Jeannine Lillard (John), and Cindy Little. Faye was the oldest of six siblings; Ray Vaughn (deceased), J. D. Vaughn (deceased), Betty Vaughn (deceased), Dick Vaughn (Judy), and Joyce Hogan.

Faye’s second husband, Charles Milton Hollingsworth of West Columbia preceded her in death on September 26, 2009. She has two stepsons; Mickey Hollingsworth (deceased) and Tracy Hollingsworth (Michaelle). Faye is also survived by her thirteen grandchildren; Vaughn Pierro (Dan), Shanna Stafford (Jameson), Hoke Little (Amanda), Jared Little, Jerrean Little, Stefanie Little, Thomas Little (Nikki), Ruby Rodriguez (Javier), Amber Little, Robert Daniel Little, Chloe Gonzalez (Tom), Dalton Lillard, and Travis Lillard; as well as eighteen great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at twelve o’clock Monday, May 6th followed by a memorial service with Rev. Steve Allen officiating at one o’clock at Thompson’s Funeral Home of Lexington, 4720 Augusta Road, Lexington, SC. A committal service will follow at two o’clock at Woodridge Memorial Park, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington, SC.
