Obituary of Timothy D. Rast

Timothy D. Rast received his wings March 24, 2024. He is survived by his loving wife of 48.9 years, Suzanne (Suzie); son, William (Susannah); grandchildren, Amelia Surak (Phillip), Caroline Abdullah (Zaid), and Annah Rast; niece, Holly Lawrence; and four great grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his parents William G. (Billy) and Bessie Rast; siblings, Lide, Lee, Rachael, and Angie Rast.

He was a 47 year member of Blue Lodge, 290 of Bowman, SC, the Scottish Rite, and the Jamil Shrine Temple.  He was a proud United States Navy veteran. 

Visitation is Saturday, March 30 from 5pm - 7pm.  The interment at Ft. Jackson National Cemetery and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital.
