Obituary of Richard Daniel Orcutt

Richard Daniel Orcutt passed away peacefully on February 12, 2024. He was 78 years old.

 

He was born in Newark, New Jersey, to parents Harold and Ida (Nagy) Orcutt. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran. He was a foster dad to numerous children. He enjoyed his career in trucking for over thirty years. Richard also was on a bowling team and loved golf over everything. Notably, he bowled a perfect 300 bowling, as well as a perfect hole in one golf game.

 

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lillian Orcutt; brother, Harold Orcutt; sister, Gay Miele; son, Richard Orcutt Jr.

 

He is survived by brother, Ronald Orcutt (Judi); daughters, Kyra Byrd (Robert) and Sherri Gzemski (Charles); grandchildren, Brian and Matthew Gzemski, Mercedes and Savannah Byrd; and many friends.

 

A private service will be held by the family.
