Obituary of Joseph Kennedy

Joseph Michael Kennedy, 74, of West Columbia, died January 26, 2024.

Born in Charleston and raised in Texas, he was predeceased by his parents, Wiley and Martha Kennedy; a sister, Anna Ruth; and a brother, Charles. 

A 1976 graduate of the University of South Carolina, he served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield as a Medicare fraud investigator.  He was a member of St. Andrews Road Church of Christ.

Mr. Kennedy is survived by his wife, Paula Matthews Kennedy; daughters, Ann Reynolds (Brian), Mary, Katie and Kelly; grandchildren, Adler and Wilson; and a brother, Wiley “W.O.” Kennedy.
