Obituary of James Robert "Robbie" Thomason

James Robert (Robbie) Thomason, age 60, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Lexington Community Hospice House, after a short illness. 

Robbie was the son of the late James Perry Thomason and Bonnie Long Thomason. He was born October 16, 1963, in Neubruecke, Germany, where his father was stationed in the Army at the time of his birth. Robbie was of the Baptist faith and attended Temple Baptist Church. He was self-employed as the owner of Thomason Wine and Liquors for 20 years. Before that, he was a manager for Bi-Lo Supermarkets. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patti DeLoach, and by a nephew, Alan DeLoach.

He is survived by two great nephews, Alan, Jr. and Tristan DeLoach, a special aunt, Beth Braus of Houston, TX and numerous cousins.
