Obituary of Debbie D. Matthews

Debbie Drawdy Matthews, 65, passed away peacefully in her home on December 31, 2023. She was a wonderful, loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother, and was at her happiest when they were all together.

She is survived by her husband and best friend, Billy Matthews; daughter, Angel Sutton; grandchildren she adored: Zachery Tyler Matthews, Alexis Sutton, and Destiny Sutton, brother, David Drawdy; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Suzanne Bundrick; Father, Lee Roy Drawdy; and Sister, Lisa Neese.

Debbie fought the good fight the last several years for just a little more time to be with her family, and she was thankful for each day God granted. She loved her family, friends, and especially the Lord and was ready to go when he called her home.  Her wish is to be cremated and have her ashes joined with her husband's to be spread at their favorite places in the mountains and the beach. A celebration of life will be planned at a future date.
