My condolences to the Sturkie family. Duane always had a smile and he laughed a lot. He was a kind and gentle soul . We had some good times working at Columbia Fire Department. We had some great family Christmas gatherings at his parents house. He was an excellent cabinet maker, a very skilled craftsman... one that was hard to find. He loved his family. Words cannot express how sorry I am to hear of the tragic loss of Dwane. Please know that I'm thinking of you all during this difficult time. He was my favorite uncle we made so many memories when my dad was dying . I will always remember him for that. Love you always .
