Obituary of William Carroll Derrick

William Carroll Derrick, 76, of Lexington, South Carolina passed away December 18, 2023 at his home. He was born on December 26, 1946 in Des Moines, Iowa to William H. and Mildred L. Derrick. He was a graduate of East Tennessee State University and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked as a supply officer for the Veteran’s Administration at several medical centers across the country. He was preceded in death by his parents. 

William is survived by his sister Delores Smith (Wayne) of Lexington, SC, brother Don Derrick (Gwynn) of Boones Mill, VA, and niece Donna Smith of West Columbia, SC. 

Graveside services will be at Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church cemetery at 1:00 PM on December 28, 2023 with Pastor Russ Stillwell officiating. Memorials may be made to Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church.
