Obituary of Ronald "Ronny" Dean Brown

Ronald Dean Brown, 59, of West Columbia, South Carolina, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2023, with his loving family at his side. He was born on June 19, 1964, in Columbia, South Carolina to the late Jimmy and Martha (Stephens) Brown. Ronny, as he was known, married the former Sandra Mayle on November 19, 1988, and they shared a wonderful life together. Ronny had a tremendous love for his family, and enjoyed cooking, fishing and being on the lake.

Ronny is survived by: His wife of 35 years Sandy M. Brown; son Ryan Brown; mother Martha S. Brown; brother Paul Brown; sister Tara Allison; granddaughter Elizabeth Grace Brown and other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park on Thursday, December 21, 2023, from 3:00PM-4:00PM. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
