Obituary of Lewis Moore

Lewis Moore, 82, of Lexington, South Carolina passed away Monday, December 18, 2023 at Lexington Hospice House.  He was born on March 27, 1941 in Greenville, South Carolina to Hubert and Ruby Moore.

Lewis is survived by his wife of 63 years, Eather Moore; daughters, Teresa (Ben) Vining, and Tammy (Sean) Maddox; grandchildren, Tiffany (Stephen) Creel, Patrick Robertson, Brittany Robertson, and Chad (Heather) Vining; and 9 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Ruby Moore; and brothers, David Moore, Sr., and Donald Moore.

The family will receive friends at Grace Chapel in West Columbia on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 from 11:00AM to 12:00PM.  Funeral services for Mr. Moore will start at 12:00PM in the chapel.  Burial will follow the service at Mount Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery in Neeses, South Carolina.  Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family with arrangements.
