Obituary of Margaret Mabelitini

Mrs. Margaret Mabelitini passed away December 14, 2023. Born in Ravenna, Kentucky on April 19, 1933. Margaret was a realtor for over 20 years. She got her broker’s license in Hickory, North Carolina. She studied for the test for 3 months and got her license on the first try. Many seasoned agents that took the same test failed. Margaret is survived by her son, Jack (Lisa) Mabelitini; two grandchildren, John and Katie. She was predeceased in death by her husband of 55 years, LTC Charles Mabelitini; her son, Joe Mabelitini; and her parents, Frank and Treva Baxter. Margaret loved to cook delicious meals for friends and family. She will be missed. A graveside ceremony (TBD) will be held at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her husband Charles. The family would like to thank all Prisma Home Hospice staff, especially Kelly, Gavert, Carmella, Joye and Doctor Jenkins for their help, love, support and gentle caring through Margaret’s illness. Mimi, the first thing I shall say is that you were the best Grandmother ever. I will remember the time of our sleepovers together. You fixed the most wonderful breakfast. You took wonderful care of your dogs, and were always looking out for them. I remember for always, the times we watched Hallmark movies together. Forever, I remember the times at Halloween, you always had candy for John and I. And the time at Christmas we celebrated together. You held me in your lap, you gave me comfort. We cared for each other. You had a big heart, and there is always a special place in heaven and in my heart for you. Love you Forever.
