Obituary of Vernon "Ray" Bristow

Vernon Ray Bristow of Lexington, SC passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023.  He was born on June 3, 1958, to Vernon and Angelyn Bristow. 

He worked as an optician for many years and retired in June of 2023.  Ray was kind, compassionate, and loved by all that knew him. He was a long-time member of Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church.

Ray is survived by his mother, Angelyn Bristow; sister, Pamela B. Quick (Kelly); and long-time friend, Bryan Champion.

A memorial service will be held at Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church, West Columbia, SC, on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at 3PM. A visitation will start at 2:30PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ray’s name to the charity of one’s choice.
