Obituary of Charles Regis Miller

Charles Regis “Chuck” Miller of Eastover, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on November 10^th, 2023. He was 86 years old.

Chuck was born on April 15^th, 1937 in Washington, Pennsylvania to parents Joseph and Norma Devesse Miller. He married his late wife, Carol Ann Miller, in 1967 and spent 50 wonderful years of marriage with her. Chuck was a retired Engineering Supervisor at Westinghouse where he worked for 40 years. He enjoyed going camping and being outdoors. Later in life, he spent much of his time on his front porch smoking a cigar. Chuck loved his family very much, and they loved him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Norma Devesse Miller; his wife, Carol Ann Miller; his sisters, Laverne Jakela and Jackie Johnston; and his granddaughter, Dakota Jones.

He is survived by his sons, JP Miller (Kim) of Eastover, SC and Bryan Miller (Ashley) of Charleston, SC; grandchildren, Aaron Miller (Marianna), Samantha Miller (Rob), and Brooke Lowe (Jordan); and great-grandchildren Bentley Miller, Iris and Amity Lowe, Jake and Taylor Miller, Kaydence and Emmarie Rucker, and Abe, Gabe and Abbey Numerick.

 A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 15^th, 2023 from 5 – 7pm at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia, SC 29209. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
