Obituary of Alberta Lois Brown

Lois Brown passed on November 5, 2023 in Lexington, SC. Born February 12,1942 in Chipley, FL, to the late Quincy Kent and Birdie Dee Kent (Moore). She was married to the late Eugene Brown for 59 years, where they ran Brown Excavating Business together. Living most of those 59 years in Mims, FL and later moving to Titusville, FL & last almost 2 years in Lexington, SC. 

She was predeceased by her daughter, Lawanna Renee Brown. She leaves her son, Scottie and his wife Lavern of Port Orange, FL; her son, Bobby and his wife Michele of Lexington, SC. She leaves two grandchildren, Ericka of Port Orange & Nicolas of Rock Hill, SC & 2 great grands. She also leaves her sisters, Marilyn Ingram, Myrtle Kent of Titusville, FL, Flora Kent of Alabama, Tammy Kent & Phyllis Kent of Mims & the late, Peggy Kent; her brothers, Quincy Kent, Jr. (Jane) of California, Willie Kent, Michael Kent, Sherman Kent, residing in FL. She leaves a host nieces & nephews & god-children, Anita Sigler, Alysc Barton & Scottie McConnico, all of FL.

Sister Lois Brown was known for offering and giving prayer to whomever walked in her path. Her love of the Lord was known by all who knew her. She loved walking and was seen most early mornings walking the bridge in Titusville. Most everyone reached out to her for daily motivation & prayer. She was enthusiastic about life and the Lord and that's how she would want to be remembered. Her favorite bible verse, Psalm 121 - I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

Her visitation will be at Lewis-Ray Mortuary, Titusville, FL, Friday, November 10th from 5-8PM. Her funeral will be at Bible Way Church of God in Christ, Oak Hill, FL, Saturday, November 11-2PM.
