Obituary of Reba Stafford Britton

Reba Stafford Britton, 102, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 5, 2023, surrounded by loving family. 

 

Born in Turbeville, SC to parents Melvin and Meddie Phillips, Reba was a valued employee of Sears for over thirty years.

 

She was preceded in death by her first husband Frank Stafford, her second husband George Britton, her son Gene (Buddy) Stafford, her parents, two sisters and a brother.

 

Surviving to mourn her loss are her children Bill (Bobbie) Stafford, Roswell Ga, Sam (Kandice) Stafford, Covington, GA, Cheryle (Tom) Waller, Columbia, SC, Kitty (John) Stafford, Palm Coast, FL and Anne (Mel) Raab, Prosperity SC.  She also left behind nine dearly loved grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  Reba’s whole world revolved around her family and she was happiest when they were all able to gather at her home for special occasions.

 

She was a member of Asbury Memorial United Methodist Church whose Pastor, Ashley McCoy-Bruce, visited Reba often.  The family would also like to thank Drs. Jeremy Ambroziak, and Joel Duncan, Prisma Health Hospice, and her very special long-time caretaker, Mrs. Jeannie Muller, for taking such wonderful and loving care of their beloved mother.

 

Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Leesburg Road, following a Service of Remembrance at 2pm Thursday, November 9, 2023 preceded by visitation at 1pm at Asbury Methodist Church (corner of Leesburg Rd and Asbury Drive.)

 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the church or a charity of your choice.
