Obituary of Carol R. Ayer

Graveside funeral services for Carol R. Ayer, 86, of Lexington, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 17th, 2023 at Southland Memorial Gardens, 700 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170. Pastor Butch Powell will officiate. The family will greet friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 16th, 2023 at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, which is assisting the family. 

Carol Ayer passed away Thursday, October 12th, 2023. Born in Judsonia Arkansas, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Otis Womack and Naomi Womack.

Carol is survived by her sons, Patrick Ayer of Tennessee, Thomas Ayer (Jolene) of Hopkins; 8 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
