Obituary of Fadia Mubarak

Mrs. Fadia Mubarak of Columbia, SC passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at the age of 99 years old. She was born in Roum, Lebanon, the daughter of the late Saeed and Mehsena Assaf of Lebanon. She and her husband Fuad moved to the United States in 1976 to be close to her children.

She enjoyed cooking Lebanese food, knitting, and being around her family and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fuad, and daughter, Ferial Shalhoub. Survivors include her son Freddy (Diane), Philip (Joanne), 9 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

The service for Mrs. Mubarak will be held at Saint Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 10-10:45 am in the Church Hall room, followed by Mass at 11:00 AM.
