Obituary of Lewis P. Bullington

Lewis Patrick Bullington of Columbia, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2023.

Born July 29, 1930 in Spartanburg, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Eva Mae Vandiver and Dewey M. Bullington. Lewis was married to his beloved wife, Annie Maude Bush, for 31 years until her passing in April 1988.

He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather to his beautiful family, daughters, Lu Ann Sharpe, Lisa Homer (Jay); sons, David Bullington, Donny Bullington; grandchildren, Beth Jordan (Dustin), Lisa Kirkland (Jason), Michael Sharpe (Kelsy), Brian Homer (Ivey), Brad Homer (Angel), Haley Smith (David), Dausen Bullington (Echo), and sixteen great grandchildren.

Lewis was a Wofford College graduate and served 31 years in the Air Force. As a Senior Master Sergeant, he served McEntire Air National Guard Base as an aircraft technician and civil service worker.

He enjoyed being outside, making things with his hands, working in the yard and on automobiles, and spending time with his family.

The family will hold an intimate graveside memorial service at Greenlawn Memorial Park on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 3:00 pm.
