Prayers for the family. Lynette was a sweet soul she took me under her wing when I was freshman in high school and always watched out for me as long as I can remember. She was an amazing woman. She will be greatly missed. Until we meet again sweet friend.

Lynette, I'm going to miss you! Our talks and laughing about everything and nothing. You brightened everyone's day. No matter how they were feeling you brought the laughter! There is so many things I could say, about you.. but the thing that sticks out the most to me is your smile! It lit up the darkest of places in people's lives. I thank you girlfriend for lighting the darkest place In my life. You were such a good friend to all who were lucky enough to call you their friend. You will never be forgotten! I will miss you.

I have typed and re-typed this so many times. I will miss your laugh the most. The world is quieter without you here with us. I will miss your “girl call me, I gotta tell you something” texts. I will miss your “I’ll call you back in 10 minutes” phone calls. I will miss talking to you about who is and isn’t guilty in the latest criminal trials. I will miss your food. I will miss your constant cheating at EVERY game even when you didn’t need to. I will miss laughing about Uno almost every time we talked. I will miss your talks about things I could only talk to you about. I will miss your reminders of your birthday. I will miss you trying to bribe me to visit you. I will miss talking about New Kids, Kevin Gates and Old Dominion. I will miss laughing about things until my abs hurt. I will miss your pranks and my inability to tell if you were telling me the truth or not. I will miss your pranks on other people. You changed me. You helped build me to the person I am. Even as kids, you always took care of me. Even if you didn’t have for yourself, you found a way to take care of me and everyone else. Your love for your children was so strong, and my promise to you is that I will do all I can to be there for them in every way. I pray one day I can love people half as much as you loved people. Please, please, please continue to watch over us, just as you always have. Please continue to be the glue to our family. I will love you forever. I hope you are up there playing your best game of Uno ever (even with your made up rules). Xoxox

This comment made my eyes wet. That was Lynette to the T. That laugh! I will ALWAYS REMEMBER that. I, too, want to love people like she loved people.

My dearest friend, my sister Lynette. We have shared so many memories.. so many long nights down 378.. so many stakeouts.. so many laughs… too many cries.. lots of love and plenty of compassion. Your love for other people was immeasurable and the love for your children was unmatched. You have been my best friend, and the still the Coolest.… well you and I know how the rest of that line goes. I don’t know how this life will be without you to remind me to laugh and be free or push me to “live my best life”. You were always such a huge support system for me from the age of 13. I could write a book on the memories we have together sister. I love you to the moon and back and thank you for entering into my life as a blessing filled with love, life, and laughter!
