Obituary of Duane P. Story

Duane P. Story (Dewey), 71, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at Lexington Medical Center in Lexington, SC.  He was born on November 8, 1951 in Rhinebeck, NY.  He was a graduate of F.D. Roosevelt High School. 

Duane served in the US Air Force during Vietnam. He married his beloved wife of 51 years, Randy A. Robinson of Hyde Park, NY in 1972. He loved music, doing arts and crafts with his wife, singing in the church choir and the meris community choir.  He was an active member of Royal Rangers for several years, and a deacon.  He was a very loving person who made friends wherever he went. 

Duane is survived by his wife, Randy; sons, Michael P. Story and Aaron T. Story of Gaston, SC; daughter, Faith-Ann Story-Garner (Danny) of Birmingham, AL; brother, Vaughn Story (Dianne) of Tulsa, OK; sisters, Joan Arnold of Poughkeepsie, NY, Kathie Greene-Nicodemus of Wappingers Falls, NY, and Donna Novak of Houston, TX; brother-in-law, John M. Robinson of Hyde Park, NY; sister-in-law, Theresa Hardinge of Poughkeepsie, NY; 4 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was loved and respected by all, and he will be greatly missed.
