Obituary of Dennis Glenn Chase

Dennis was born May 22, 1951 in Long Beach, California to Mamie Laurabelle Boyts and Archie Oral Chase. He passed unexpectedly on January 22, 2023, peacefully along side his family. Born and raised in Long Beach, California, he was a hard working and loving spouse, father, step father, and grandfather (Opa).

Dennis retired after working for Fox Studios in Los Angeles for over 20 years. He worked on the shows M.A.S.H., Waltons, NYPD Blue, and many other movies. His name can be found in the credits of the movie Commando. He moved to SC with his wife in 1999. In his free time he loved sprint car racing, riding dirt bikes, fishing, drinking beer, and riding his Harley. He spent a lot of time in the garage working on cars and motorcycles. He enjoyed site seeing and spending time with his wife. 

Dennis has left behind his beloved wife, Juanita (nee LaBounty); his son, Glenn (Kourtney) Chase of Anaheim, CA; step children, Jonathan LaBounty of Gaston, Carrie Morris of Lexington, KY, Shawna(Eddie) Ratcliff of Martinez, GA, Juanita(Felix) Hernandez of Batesburg, SC and Mitchell Hinson of Gaston,SC; his brother, Art Chase of Golden Valley, AZ; sister, Marie Butt of Artesia, CA;  grand daughter, Allyson Chase; and 13 step grandchildren. He is predeceased by his mother, father, and brother, Larry. He will be missed beyond what words can describe.
