Obituary of Logan Simms

Logan Simms gained his wings December 7th, 2022.

Born on June 4, 1982, he was a brother to us all, a beautiful soul of a son, adoring father to Allison, best bonus dad to Parker, amazing uncle to many, and a friend that always has your back without question. No matter by blood, marriage, friendship, whether you worked by him everyday or met him once he loved you BIG and hugged like he meant it. Never afraid to take on a challenge, seek an adventure, walk ablaze the path less traveled, your love for life, your family, and your friends will be forever cherished and admired. You've changed each one of us with your light, love, and laughter. Phillip LOGAN Simms, we love you, we continue to love you still, we will love you forever. We will miss you sweet brother, caring son, loving father, and the most amazing "fun"cle. May you rest in peace, never battle another fight, and hold it down with Steven up there; we will join you both one day and the party will be a glorious reunion. Until then, watch over us, be in our hearts & fondest memories and remind us to live everyday to the fullest.

Logan is survived by parents, Howard "Bo" Simms and Charlene D. Simms; daughter, Allison Lauren Simms; sister, Heather Simms Sheaffer (Justin) and children, Tyler, Trent, Camden, and Declan; brother, Jarrod "JT" Simms (Sarah) and children, Jake, Trent, Jaxon, Brantley, and Lottie; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at 10am at Shandon Baptist Church 5250 Forest Drive Columbia, SC 29206.
