Obituary of Catherine Howell Dempster

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Catherine Dempster. Catherine was born on the 5th of May, 1967 to Joan Sallenger (Howell) and Bob Howell.  She passed on the 22nd of October, 2022 at Baptist Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina. She spent most of her life in South Carolina where she had her daughter, Tiffany. She had two grandchildren, Marcus and Eleanor, whom she loved dearly. She was a talented artist, and loved her animals, especially her cat Alexandra. She was preceded in death by her father, Bob Howell. She is survived by her mother, Joan Sallenger (Ken); her brother, Michael Howell (Donna); her longtime companion, Darrell Ellisor; her daughter, Tiffany (Robert); and her two grandchildren. 

A memorial service will be held at Trinity Cathedral (1100 Sumter St, Columbia, SC 29201) on the 28th of October, 2022 at 2 p.m. The family will receive guests directly after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alpha 1 Foundation.
