Obituary of Dale Gordon Troutman

Dale Gordon Troutman of Hopkins, SC passed away on August 28^th, 2022. He was 69 years old.

Dale was born on May 15, 1953 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is preceded in death by parents George and Edith Troutman. He is survived by daughter Christine, and sons Timothy and Troy; brother Douglas Troutman and his four children; grandchildren DJ, Dalton, and Sofia; and his beloved dog, Daisy who never left his side & his two cats, Sugar & Baby. He will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Dale was retired from Westinghouse as a nuclear rod specialist, after working at Allied Signal for 27 years prior as a foreman. He enjoyed watching football; he cheered for both the South Carolina Gamecocks and the Alabama Crimson Tide. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and his pets. Dale’s friends & family remember him as someone who loved to talk politics and give his commentary. Dale leaves behind many good memories with friends and his family.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 17^th, at 10am at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park - 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia, SC 29209.
