Obituary of Walda Elissa Carlson

Walda Elissa Carlson passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 27, 2022 at the Pines of Columbia. She was the daughter of Babil and Elvira Ogazon. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 22, 1931.

Walda was predeceased by her husband, James B. Carlson; and a sister, Romala (Ronnie) Johnson. She is survived by a brother, Michael Ogazon (Doris) of Garden City, NY; sons, Randy (Ann) of Dillon, SC, and David Carlson of Lexington, SC; a granddaughter, Katharine Moody (Ryan) of Lexington, SC; a grandson, Jay Carlson (Laura) of Chicago; and three great grandchildren, Emerson Moody, Landon Moody, and Isla Carlson.

Walda enjoyed playing bridge and creating needlepoint and cross stitch pictures. She worked as an administrative assistant for several Marine Corps Generals during her career.
