Obituary of Sheryl Kelley

Sheryl S. Bales Kelley, 61, died in her home on Friday, May 27, 2022 of a Pulmonary Embolism.

She was born and raised in Muncie, Indiana. As an adult she lived in San Clemente, California, Muncie, Indiana and West Columbia, South Carolina.

She graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1978 and completed an Associate degree at Indiana Vocational and Technical College.  

Survivors include two daughters Sherilyn Kelley (Brandon Raper) and Jacquelyn Kelley; one son James Kelley Jr.; one granddaughter Jalyn Raper; one grandson Dominic Kelley; one brother Mitchell Bales; one sister Jamalee Coburn.

She was preceded in death by her parents Patricia and Jack Bales.

Services will be held on Saturday, June 4th at 3:00 pm at Thompson Funeral Home 4720 Augusta Road Lexington, SC with burial to follow in Celestial Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service.
