I remember when I was still in high school, I would go by to see Uncle Lee at his shop by my grandmothers when he was still working and when he’d see me, he’d say, “what’s say boy” and I’d say “just finished cutting granny's grass and thought I’d come see you”
Then he’d say, “you ain’t worth shoot for nothing, boy” as a joke, knowing it would make me smile cause he always says that. I miss him so much, that not a day goes by, I don’t think about the times he and I spent out in the shop talking about the Gamecocks and if they’ll make it to certain bowls. He was a great man and an even greater uncle to me.
