Obituary of Martin F. Maloney, Jr.

Services for Martin F. Maloney, Jr., 77, of Cayce, will be private. Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family with arrangements. Martin Maloney, Jr. passed away November 15, 2021. Born in Palmer, MA, he was a son of the late Martin F. Maloney, and Marion Maloney. Martin served his country in the US Army, retiring after a 28 year career. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother who will be missed by all who knew him.

Martin is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Helen Maloney; daughter, Zandra Nelson (Eric) of Irmo; son, Curtis Sawyer (Angie) of Eutawville, SC; daughters, Sue Sawyer of Tullahoma, TN, Julie Westbury of Charleston, SC; 6 grandchildren; brother, Dennis Maloney (Debbie) of Thorndyke, MA; sister, Eileen McGrew (Timothy) of Connecticut. Martin was predeceased by his parents.
