Jeanne Zarazee

Obituary of Jeanne Taylor Zarazee

On November 12, 2021, the gates of Heaven opened andwelcomed one of God’s most good and faithful servants, Jeanne Taylor Zarazee.  Jeanne fought a long and enduring battle with cancer, doing so with style and grace.

Jeanne was born on June 24th, 1961 in Tifton, Georgia to Ed and Shelvia Taylor. Jeanne started her teaching career at Foundry United Methodist Church in Houston, Texas, and upon moving to South Carolina, she found a new home teaching at Asbury United Methodist Church. In May of this year, she was heartbroken when after 26 years, she could no longer teach because of her condition. Jeanne loved her school family and the children she taught were like her very own. She always greeted everyone with a warm and gracious smile, and lots of love.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 42 years, Tony Zarazee of Eastover; her daughter, Jessica Herrin (Chris) of Houston, TX; her son, Andrew Zarazee (Rene) of Houston, TX;her mother Shelvia Taylor of Panama City, Fl; two sisters Monica Frazier (Jim) of Wagener, SC and Penny Belcher (Steve) of Lexington, NC; and a brother Donald Taylor (Dee) of Panama City, FL.  She also leaves behind an extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, and lots of loving friends.

She is preceded in death by her father Ed Taylor, her paternal grandparents, George & Louise Taylor, and her maternal grandparents, Charles Amos & Jessie Hardy.

To Jeanne, family meant everything, and the time she spent with them was precious.

“Your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering” Mark 5:34
