Obituary of Vernon Ray Kyzer

Vernon Ray Kyzer, 95, of Lexington, husband of the late Margaret Drafts Kyzer, passed away on November 7, 2021. He was born on August 7, 1926 in Lexington to the late Willie D. and Lethia K. Kyzer. He was a US Army veteran of World War II.

 

He was married to his beloved wife Margaret for 68 years and is survived by their daughter Judy Hubert (Terry), sons, Hugh (Veronica) and Blake (Roxie). He is also survived by a sister Bonnie Aerhart and grandchildren: Kim Curlee (Paul), Mandy Hiller (Brandon), Brittany Stafford (Chas), Jamie Brunson (Tripp), Kenna Trenkamp (Matt), and Kyle Kyzer (Elizabeth), and 12 great-grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Lexington with graveside service to follow.

 

The family would like to thank the staff at Right At Home and Lakeside Assisted Living for their compassionate care of our father and his special needs during this time.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church.

 

Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family.
