Obituary of Delbert W. Snyder

Delbert W Snyder, Sr., husband of Florence V. Snyder, passed away on Thursday May 20, 2021. He was born on July 5, 1930 in Johnson County, Iowa.

He was a Korean War Veteran and lifetime member of Post 8738. He retired from the Michigan School System and later from Mid-Carolina Electric Coop in South Carolina. He is survived by sister Nellie Vitosh of Iowa. Delbert was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

He will be missed by all.

He had 90 good years and we prefer to celebrate his life rather than mourn his loss. He was a simple man who loved his family, a place to put his head and a good set of wheels that would take him wherever he felt like going. If you get a chance drink a Coor's light for him.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 24th at 2pm in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. The family will receive friends beginning at noon prior the service.
