Obituary of Timothy McGuire

Timothy “Tim” Edward McGuire, 62, of Hopkins, South Carolina passed away on March 18, 2021 at his home in Hopkins. Tim was born in Washington, DC to Lonnie Edward McGuire and Ruth Kuemmerle McGuire. He was a graduate of Fork Union Military Academy and went on to be a Master Electrician. Tim decided to chase his dreams of owning a gun shop, Swamp Fox Armory. Tim was an avid supporter of law enforcement, first responders and the military. He was an avid Clemson Tigers fan and lover of the great outdoors. Tim is survived by his daughter, Kayla Marie McGuire. 

Services for Tim will be held Tuesday March 23rd at Thompson Funeral Home on Leesburg Rd. Visitation is from 11-12:45 pm with a graveside service following at 1 pm.
