Obituary of Debra Taylor Tindal

Debra Taylor Tindal, of Cayce, SC, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 15, 2021. Deb was a graduate of Pelion High School, where she was a star basketball player. Following high school, she married the love of her life, Sonny. She retired from the SC Highway Department after 30 years of service. Deb shared Sonny's love of drag racing for 56 years and chaired a position with the Quick 8 Racers Association for many years.

Deb is survived by her husband of 63 years, Theodore Roosevelt "Sonny" Tindal, Jr.; daughter, Robin Tindal-Jones (Lee); grandson, Josh Price; granddaughter, Brittnee Hartley (Joshua); great grandchildren, Emma and Laine Hartley; sister, Betty Rowe; brother-in-law, Phil Tindal; and sisters-in-law: Dena Craft, Shirlene Adams, and Dianne Lucas. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Brooks and Avolee Taylor; and sisters, Melba Samples and Nell Taylor Williams.

Funeral services for Deb will be held at King Grove Baptist Church in Swansea, SC at 2:00pm on Thursday, February 18, 2021, with burial following at church cemetery. Services will be streamed live on the King Grove Baptist Church Facebook group, simply join to view her service.
