Obituary of Reba E. "Betty" Plant

Reba Elizabeth "Betty" Plant, 90, of Columbia, SC passed away peacefully on February 13, 2021. Born on January 4, 1931 in College Park, Ga. to the late Judson L. Moore and Ruby Mae Moore.

Reba is predeceased by her husband of 58 years Bobby G. Plant. She is survived by her son Maurice V. Plant (Deborah) of Gilbert, AZ, daughters, Cynthia D. Plant of Lexington, SC, Linda J. Enloe of Columbia, SC, Victoria L. Whatley (Al) of Elgin, SC, Debbie Cash (Skip) of White Plains, MD, grandchildren, Shane, Josh, Jacob, Josiah, Tiffany, and Rob, and great grandchildren Kobe and Maci.

In addition to being a full-time working mother for 40+ years, she was a devoted mom, making time for school, church, sports, and other activities with kids. She enjoyed cooking and crocheting. She was also an active member with the Order of the Eastern Star Fort Jackson Chapter 253.

Visitation with family is scheduled 6 - 8 PM Tuesday, February 16th at Thompson Funeral Home Lexington.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, February 17th at Fort Jackson National Cemetery
