Obituary of Arturo Rodriguez

Arturo Rodriguez, 79, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 23, 2020. Born on July 19, 1941 in Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Arturo Rodriguez and Luz Maria Santiago.

Arturo was a US Army Retired Veteran, having served in both the Vietnam and Korean wars two times. He earned and was awarded several medals, including the Purple Heart. During his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling and spending time with his family.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Cecilia Rivera Rodriguez; 4 children (and spouses): Cecilia Kenny (Joseph), Leticia Goff (Edwin), Melissa Hall (Todd) and Arturo Rodriguez, III (Fabiola); ten grandchildren: Tyler Coppney, Magan LeFay Johnson, Caitlynn Virginia Goff, Brianne Nix Hall, Ashlynn Victoria Goff, Armando Ponce, Michael Todd Hall Jr., Annaee Ponce, Isabella Kenny and John Kenny; two great-grandchildren: Aubrianna Katherine Long and Alec Rodriguez Johnson.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 10:00am at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Rd. Columbia, SC 29229.
